They are vocations, and they both require a level of commitment. They both require a level of sacrifice.

The Little Things

For the last week I have been obsessing over a problem. It is something that is truly frustrating. Something that my reaction to only made worse. So I have been obsessing about it. I have been worrying and complaining and thinking about it all the time. It has stopped me from writing, it has stopped me from talking to other people for fear of making things worse, it has just stopped me in my tracks.

To kick of the new year I completed a project that I had been meaning to do all last year. Technically I did get it done last year (well except that I still need to paint the thing) but I am pretty proud of. The room is newly painted and the new beds are in. As you can see the kids helped a lot.
