Christmas Markets in Vienna eBook – A Review
I read the whole thing, in about an hour, and I was sad when I got to the end and realized If I wanted to get more Christmas market experience I would likely have to buy a plane ticket. The only thing missing from the book were the actual smells and tastes, but then there is a goal for the next book they put out.
I Herd That
We are both using the farming metaphor to describe life, and well that just lends itself to some pretty humorous things. Not the least of which is the idea of two “old men” arguing about which kind of farming is a better metaphor for life.

The First Kiss
Just like the very first kiss, our first kiss was a bit of a mess. I have no excuse. I mean I had done this before. It was her first kiss but I had done this before. I should have been able to handle it. But that was the thing.

Today as I was leaving the store I heard a mother tell her daughter, who was working on hiding her face, one of those phrases I think we all heard as we were growing up.

A Work in Progress
So back on topic. One of the reasons that I have not been posting a lot here lately is that I have been doing a lot of other writing. I might notice that my writing tacker has not updated in a while, and that is because I am afraid to go in there an put in that long string of zeros before I picked up my pen again. But I will hear shortly (Maybe.)
A Fitness Update
If you have been watching my updates on Facebook, you will probably notice that I have been all over the map this summer, first with increasingly longer and faster runs and then, a sudden drop, back to it again, and then another drop off. I can answer the question of why the sudden drops with one word, “Injuries.”
Why I keep Writing But I Won’t do NaNoWriMo
I am much more balanced with my writing and the rest of my life, and at this point I just don’t think that I can do NaNoWriMo this year. Maybe not ever again. But for all you NaNo’s out there, I wish you the best. I will cheer you on from the sidelines. And I will keep plugging away at my writing.
