Starting Over Again Part 2 – Homestead for sale.

The first step in the starting over process was making the decision. We have done that. Then we had to start looking for a new home. We have done that too. We actually put in an offer on a new place last week. It was accepted and we are moving forward with it. It is different than our current place, but more on that later.

Right now I want to talk about our current place and why it might be right for you. If you have been watching our videos for the past couple of years, you know that this place has been pretty spectacular for us. We are sad to leave, but like I said in my recent video sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

If you are interested in starting a homestead, whatever your reason, this homestead has a lot to offer. The house is 4100 Sq feet, 7 (seven) bedrooms, and 4 full bathrooms. With a big deck out back, a walk-out basement, two car garage. This is perfect for a large family or a family that is growing.
The house sits on 15 acres, most of which is fenced and perfect for goats, pigs chickens or whatever else you might be interested in doing. The fenced-in area has two large gates for a truck or tractor and a small man gate right near the house for easy access.
There are three separate barns. One we are using for the pigs with a dirt floor, one that we are using for our goats with a concrete floor, divided into two main areas, and two stalls. A chicken run / barn with a wooden floor on the inside and dirt in the actual run area. On top of that, there is a 25’X40′ workshop with a concrete floor and huge sliding door. All the barns have 110 power run to them and the shop has 110 and 220, perfect for running a welder or other tools that require 220.
The house sits down from the road and so is nice and private. Between the house and the road there is a spot that had been used in the past for a pond with a clay bottom. The previous owners drained the pond but it would be easy enough to patch and fill again.
There is a large circular drive with lots of parking. There is a concrete pad between the two large barns great for setting up a sawmill or doing other outdoor projects. I can tell you from experience this is a great place to get things done.
Have I mentioned the view? This homestead is right in the middle of the Ozarks and sits on top of a rolling hill, which gives it a spectacular view, from pretty much anywhere in the house or yard.
I am not a big fan of sales pitches and I know this has been mostly that, but I am interested in trying to help someone find what could be the perfect homestead.
I know moving in the middle of winter is not always fun but, if you do, by the time everything is said and done, you would be moving in, early spring which is the perfect time to get your seeds started and even getting some animals started on the property and ready for summer.

The house is far enough out that you get your privacy, but still close enough to Branson, and Springfield for all of the modern conveniences.

If you are interested, or you know anyone who is. Please let us know.
